BRIAN LORNE LUHOWY December 20, 1992 - April 2, 2011 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian Luhowy at his home on April 2, 2011. Brian and his beautiful smile will be deeply missed by his mother Annette, her spouse John, his brothers Nick (Rebecca) and Jeremy, his special nephew Kane, stepbrother Evan, stepsister Morgan all of Balmoral, MB. Brian will also be missed by his Gido and Baba Lawrence and Marlene Szwaluk of Shoal Lake, MB; Gido and Baba Zane and Elsie Luhowy of Rossburn, MB; grandparents Henry and Emme Billings of Killarney, MB; and great-Baba Jean Presniak of Birtle, MB. Brian will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brian attended K-8 school in Balmoral, high school in Stonewall. He moved to Winnipeg to work in the restaurant business where it was his dream to attend culinary art school to become a chef. Brian could always be found in the kitchen cooking something special. Brian loved his family and friends. He loved listening to his music and was always interested in trying new things. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Friends may call to pay their respects on Wednesday, April 6 at 7:00 p.m. also at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Kids Help Line or a charity of your choice.
