Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE (MIMI) WORKMAN September 22, 1918 - April 3, 2011 It was with great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother (Mimi) Rose. She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Jack) Swar, their children Sean (Jodi) Pauls, Tyler, Erik (Tasha) and Kesha; her best friend and sister-in-law Norma Hill, special friend Herb Olsen of Tuxedo Villa, sisters Lydia Warrilow, Marion Sarahan and brother Nelson Fiala, as well as many nephews, nieces and their families. Mimi was predeceased by her parents, eight siblings, her husband Willard, of 49 years and her sons Clifford and John. Mimi loved to bake, spend a day out at the casino and had a heart full of love when surrounded by her grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and as per mom's wishes a graveside service will be held at Brookside Cemetery on Thursday, April 7 at 2:30 p.m. The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, nursing aide and all the rest of the staff on the sixth floor E-wing at the St. Boniface Hospital who so kindly took care of mom over the past months.
