BETTY JANE JONES (nee WOOD) 1938 - 2011 Betty Jane Jones (nee Wood) born January 8, 1938 in Rossland, BC and died peacefully April 4, 2011 leaving behind her beloved husband Barrie. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Al and Mary and is survived by her sister Judy. Betty's memory is held dear by her son, Matthew, his wife Beverley and Betty's pride and joy, granddaughter Mckenzie. Betty leaves to cherish her memory Lorna and Ray Martin, their sons Paul and Alan; and Brian and Paula Jones and Barrie's grandchildren Mike and Jason. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). I just found out she died a year ago. I had thought of her as a special lady. I heard stories of her from Barrie. The way he spoke of her was full of admiration & love. Every week Barrie would send her flowers.
