TRAVIS DWAYNE GEARO-KACPERSKI (Heart of Gold) It's with profound sorrow we say good bye to Travis Dwayne Gearo-Kacperski at the age of 25 years. Dwayne passed away April 6, 2011. Travis leaves behind to mourn this untimely passing his parents Ian and Gale Kacperski, cherished sister Tiffany and loving brothers Curtis, Matthew (Jen) Coyle and Cohan. Also sharing this tremendous loss are his Grandparents Magdalena and Robert Johnson and Jack Thiessen. Uncle Kool-Aid will be greatly missed by Jade and Rylie along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Travis was predeceased by his beloved Mother Sharon Gearo, Grandparents Mildred and James Gearo, Walter and Elsie Kacperski and Uncle Wayne Gearo. Travis was born on October 23, 1985 in Winnipeg. At the age of five he moved to Elma, MB where he attended Whitemouth School until the age of 12. His family then moved to Bissett and he attended San Antonio and Wanipigow School. Travis then went on to complete his Senior years at Tec Voc. This is where he was introduced to his greatest love... FOOTBALL. He played Defensive Tackle for the Tec Voc Hornets. Travis is remembered as a kind and gentle giant. Known to be generous and honest to a fault. This sweet soul could not say no to any one he considered family or friend. Immensely missed and loved forever, we'll meet again in the end zone. A celebration of Travis' life will be held on Wednesday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. If friend so desire a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association can be made in honor of Travis.
