Dave will be deeply missed by his Mom, Nettie; sister, Debbie; nephew, Kyle; niece, Meghan; brother, Larry; his relatives and his extended family; his many close friends. His memories will be cherished and held close to our hearts forever. Dave was predeceased by his Dad, Walter. He then moved on to a manager's position with IGA Hosegoods where he instilled a lot of fun and laughter in the workplace with nicknames for all staff and favourite customers. Dave grew up in the Elmwood area and his second home was at the Kelvin Community Club where he developed a lot of his natural athletic skills and made many lifetime friends. His passion for hockey propelled him to many championship teams and awards. He was a fierce competitor and also loved playing lacrosse, golf, basketball, soccer and horseshoes. Dave also loved the great outdoors, hanging out at the family cabin on Lake Winnipeg, where he enjoyed golf and horseshoe tournaments, building big fires and was known as a barbecue and pizza Guru who loved to entertain and cook tasters for his family and friends. Dave lived life to the fullest - To know Dave was to love Dave .
