EBERHARD KARL WERNER WERTH On Friday, April 8, 2011, at the age of 68, Eberhard passed away with family at his side at the St. Boniface Hospital. Eberhard was born in Germany on December 2, 1942. At an early age, he and his family immigrated to Canada and resided in Winnipeg for a period of time before moving to the farm in the Teulon area. In 1970, he met Margaret and they were married on October 23, 1971. Eberhard had been employed by Killberry Industries for 12 years before deciding to dairy farm in the Teulon area for 15 years. Eberhard then decided to return to the work force once again and was employed by MacDon Industries for the last 22 years. Eberhard had the greatest admiration for MacDon and was proud to work for them. MacDon was his home away from home. Surviving to mourn his loss are his wife Margaret, his son William (Jeanne) and his beloved grandchildren Mia and Darian, Dalten and Selena, his daughter Kristine and his pup Mugzee. Also surviving are his sisters Waltraud (Lloyd), Anna (Mike), and sister-in-law Linda (Bob), brother Werner Jr. (Fern) and all their families and relatives in Germany and Holland. He was predeceased by his parents Werner and Martha Werth and parents-in-law William and Nellie Mannetje. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing between 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, Manitoba. Karen Hutchinson officiating. Service to terminate at the chapel with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorial donations may be made to D'Arcy's A.R.C., 730B Century Street, Winnipeg, MB R3H 0M1, Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3, CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9 or a charity of your choice. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to nurses Melanie and Helene who went above and beyond on Eberhard's last day. To HCA's Louie, Paul, and Joanna who always took special care of Eberhard.
