MYA AUBREY CHODY It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mya Aubrey Chody on Monday, April 11, 2011, a few short hours after her birth. Mya is loved deeply and will always be remembered as a valiant fighter by those who survive her, loving parents Marjorie and Kevin Chody, grandparents Barb and Fred McBride and Kathy and Darryl Chody, godparents Jason Chody and Heidi Allingham, Uncle Tom and Aunt Genelle Coffey, and numerous other important family members. Special thanks to Dr. Patricia Pittman and the staff of the Women's Hospital for their outstanding care. A celebration of Mya's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 710 Roanoke, with Father Ed officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Turner Syndrome Society of Canada in Mya's name (30 Cleary Ave., Room 9, Ottawa, ON, K2A 4A1).
