Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD SMITH On Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Fred Douglas Lodge, Edward Smith, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his wife Vera in 2006. Edward was born in Winnipeg on June 28, 1925, in a house on Redwood Avenue. He was a longtime employee at Manitoba Bridge. Edward is survived by his daughter Holly Proctor (Bruce) of Calgary AB, son Randy Smith (Gloria) of Winnipeg, MB, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves to mourn his passing, sisters Eleanor and Gloria of Winnipeg, MB. The family would like to friends, family, and staff at Fred Douglas Lodge, Oak Unit, 2nd floor. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with viewing prior to the service. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Edward's memory to Jocelyn House. 586-2044
