Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL FILOPOULOS With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Paul Filopoulos on April 11, 2011 at the Grace Hospital at 70 years of age. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Kiki, two sons Chris and Demetrios, two sisters Sofia and Magdeline (John), along with numerous nieces and nephews. Paul came to Canada in 1960 and married his wife Kiki in 1974. Together they owned and operated Junior's, on Portage at Moray for 10 years. The next 22 years were spent in Gimli where they built a successful and popular restaurant, The Country Boy. Paul and his family enjoyed their time in Gimli where they made many friends and appreciated their regular customers. Paul was a loving husband and father. He will be sadly missed and will forever be in our hearts. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Grace Hospital for their care and compassion. Services to honour a life well lived will be held at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Avenue. Prayers: Wednesday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service: Thursday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's memory to the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
