WILLIAM (BILL) LATIMER William Bill Latimer, 82, of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 with his family by his side. Bill was predeceased by his parents and twin brother Jack. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Marilyn (nee Hedge), daughters Lynn Howard (Rick) and Bev Rehill (Vance), five grandchildren Christopher Howard (Deanna), Stephen Howard (Janette), Cailin Rehill, Joel Rehill (Brittany), Jesse Rehill (Catherine) and three great-grandchildren Baily, Riley and Sydney Howard, brother Bob Latimer (Eleanor) of Thunder Bay, Ontario and two nephews and one niece and sister-in-law Nancy of St. Catharines, Ont. Dad was born March 28, 1929 in Fort William, Ont. One of three boys he was raised and educated in Fort William, Ont. Mom and Dad were married in 1953 in Fort William and re-located with Kraft Foods Ltd. to Winnipeg in 1959. He had a career of 42 years with Kraft. Dad was a member of Masonic Lodge #415 Fort William and Red River Masonic Lodge #172 Winnipeg, Scottish Rite Lodge Winnipeg, Khartum Temple Shrine Patrol Unit and Skooters Unit Winnipeg and Elmwood Legion #9. The family wishes to thank Dr. A.S. Abdulrehman and Jo-Anne, Drs. Viallet and Leylek and Marissa Rodrigues of CCM, the Concordia Hospital Staff on 3E, Bob Turnbull, Moe Rempel and Norm Woodward for their care, assistance and friendship. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Foundation or the St. Boniface Hospital NIC Unit.
