NORMA VAN LANDEGHEM With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Norma Van Landeghem (nee Easton) on Monday, April 11, 2011 in her 92nd year. Mom was predeceased by her parents Charles and Florence, her husband John and her sisters Grace, Alice, Edith and Audrey. She leaves to mourn, her four children John (Vi), Sheila, Laurie (John) and Linda (Tim) as well as her two grandchildren, Darryl and Nicholas. Norma was born on February 23, 1920 and married John on October 3, 1948. They spent 60 years together until Dad's death on May 14, 2008. She was a steadfast member of St. James United Church and was active within the St. James community. She enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, time spent at Brereton Lake, and in her sunset years travelling the world with her husband. The children would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at The Westhaven as well as her home care workers. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
