BARBARA ANN ARGUE (nee ROBERTSON) October 2, 1944 April 7, 2011 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Argue of Carberry Manitoba on April 7, 2011 at the age of 66 years. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Christina Robertson, her brothers Geordie and Harvey Robertson and her loving husband Keith Argue. Barb will be deeply missed by her daughter Jackie (Blaine) Johnson, grandson Nick, and granddaughters Erin and Kailey, as well as her son Scott (Lana) Argue and grandson Keith. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews and many family friends who knew her as Auntie Barb . Barb was born and raised in the Wood Bay District of Manitoba, and took her education in Pilot Mound and Winnipeg. After marrying Keith they moved to Saskatchewan where they made their life and raised their children. They lived in a number of communities including Kerrobert, Totness, Netherhill, Govan, Rocanville and Whitewood. Barb had a wide variety of careers over the years including office cleaner, painter, accountant, receptionist and florist before settling on a career in the travel industry, joining McPhail travel to run the group travel business shortly following Keith's death. Barb's travels took her around the world and introduced her to many new friends, including several in Australia where she travelled annually for many years. The last number of years ticked many sights off her bucket list as she travelled through Europe, Asia, Africa and South America witnessing the sights of the Great Wall, the Pyramids, and the terra cotta warriors to name only a few. Joining her on these travels were many clients who almost always became friends, or as she put it; part of the McPhail Travelamily. Although Barb will be missed, she will never be forgotten. A CELEBRATION OF BARB'S LIFE will be held at the Clearwater Memorial Hall on Friday, April 15 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
