ALFRED KLANN December 7, 1929 April 10, 2011 Alfred Klann, aged 81 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Margaret and her husband Henry; his son Glen; his granddaughters Stephanie (Byran) and Aileen; his brothers Ervin (Elaine) and Helmuth (Eileen); his sisters Evelyn (Elmer), Tillie, and Myrtle; his sisters-in-law Evelyn, Lila, and Wilma; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Agnes of 48 years; his sons Larry, Richard and Alvin; brothers Arthur, Walter, and Rudy; and his parents Karl and Bertha. Alfred was born in Greenwald, MB, and lived in the Thalberg area before moving to Winnipeg to raise his family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Thalberg, MB, with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating. Friends may pay their respects prior to the service, starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday, April 15 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, MB.
