CHARLOTTE LEE (CHARLIEBLUE) After a courageous struggle with cancer Charlotte quietly passed away, surrounded by friends and family on Friday, April 8, 2011. She will forever remain on our minds and in our hearts. Left to cherish Charlotte's memory are her husband Bill; sons Will and Adam; sister Diana Marshall; nephews Christopher (Brook) and Reid; niece Naomi and also her sister Doreen Wasik (Ed). She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Pat; son Frank and brother-in-law Terry Marshall. Charlotte was born on July 20, 1953 to Bill and Patricia Zirk. She spent her childhood in Winnipeg and on the family farm in Whitemouth. After a brief time in Edmonton she returned to Winnipeg where on August 20, 1983 Charlotte and Bill were married. They soon settled and started to raise a family. When she decided to return to work it didn't take her long to land her dream job. She became an educational assistant at John Taylor Collegiate. Charlotte loved being a job coach and taking her kids to work experience at Anchor Products, which she did right up till very recently. Charlotte always said there wasn't a kid that couldn't be reached and touched by the lives of many. She loved her home and her summer cottage in the back yard where she and Bill spent many wonderful summers relaxing and watching the boys grow up. On Monday, April 25, 2011 a Celebration of Charlotte's Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. in Silver Heights Community Club, 2080 Ness Avenue. The family would like to thank Dr. P. Harris; the Doctors and Nurses of Grace Hospital Emergency and on Ward 3 South for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations in Charlotte's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
