Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERNEST ALBERT (JACK) PILGRIM December 2, 1912 April 8, 2011 It is with tender hearts that the family of Jack Pilgrim announces his passing away on April 8, 2011 at the age of 98 years. Ernest was predeceased by his wife Edna Pilgrim. He is survived by his four children, Lois (Irvin) Wolf, Ernie (Arlene) Pilgrim, Murray (Colleen) Pilgrim, Brenda (Terry) Rehaluk; 10 grand-children and 17 great-grandchildren and one sister Beverly Schelthelm. Ernest was an avid soccer player and curler, and excelled in every sport he played. He enjoyed his time at the lake, fishing, and boating. Ernest owned his own painting and decorating business. He was a craftsman. He loved his work and loved to see the final results of his hard work. He always sought after God. Whenever he was alone he found solace in reading the Bible and praying. When he felt sick or weak he would call on God for strength. He knew that it was through Christ's death and resurrection that he was promised eternal life. He might have failed God many times but God's grace never failed him. We will miss you Dad but you are now in heaven so we rejoice for you. A Funeral Service will be held at Pierson's Funeral Service (4121 -17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Sunday, April 17 at 6:00 p.m. An Interment will be held at Gladstone Cemetery (two miles South on Highway 34) Gladstone, MB on Thursday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
