MARGARET ELIZABETH PECK (nee DEMOLINE) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, granny and partner on April 13, 2011 after a short battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her partner, Ken Olson; her three children: Tracy (Alex) Slyker; Wayne (Becky) and their son Ethan Peck; Brent (Cheryl) and their children Chelsea and Matthew Peck; sister-in-law Candace Demoline and her children Bryce and Dana. Also left to cherish her memory are her extended family Robert (Barbara) and their children Katie and Ben Olson; Roger (Colette) and their children Richard and Chantal Olson; Leanne (Tim) and their children Cody, Brendan, and Shelby Juer; David (Michelle) and their children Drew, Savannah and Lexie Olson. She was predeceased by her parents and only brother Arthur Demoline. Margaret was born in Swan River, MB to Dorothy and Melvin Demoline. Margaret has lived all over Manitoba and met numerous wonderful friends along the way. She had the pleasure of working for MTS for 28 years and made a lot of lifelong friends there. Mom retired seven years ago, and has since been enjoying spending time with her children and grandchildren who meant the world to her. She spent the last eight years enjoying her relationship with Ken. They made numerous trips to Arizona, all the family's cabins throughout the Whiteshell, numerous trips to Alberta and many fun filled weekends at the farm . Our mom lived her life to the fullest and cherished everyone in her life. There will be many children missing their Granny Peck. Mom had a smile for everyone and opened her heart and home to all. As per Margaret's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will take place in the basement of the Selkirk Legion on Monday, April 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please bring your fun memories of our mom and share them. In lieu of flowers, Margaret requested donations be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
