ROBERT HAWLEY CUMMING October 1, 1929 - April 9, 2011 On the morning of April 9, 2011, Robert passed away from a broken heart, and left us to join his wife Iris, and grandson Jeremy. Also welcoming him to the card table are his parents, Donald and Ruby, his sisters Jewel and June, and brothers Raymond, Russell, Donald, and Douglas. He is survived by his daughters, Lynn, Carroll and LeAmber (Iain) and his six grandchildren, Dustin, Matt, Josephine, Roth, Laird and Rhiannon. He will be missed. Robert worked hard all his life, leaving home to work as a miner when he was just 14, then joining the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, where he served for 28 years, both in Korea and as a Peace Keeper. He retired to manage Southglen Mobile home community for the next 20 years. He was an avid hockey fan who worked for the Winnipeg Jets and the Manitoba Moose. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 38B Springwood Dr. Winnipeg, MB. (Southglen Mobile Home Community).
