THEODOR (THEO) ADDICKS Theodor, best known as Theo or Ted, passed away after a brief illness on April 10, 2011, at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sophie. Theo was born in Germany, and together with Sophie immigrated to Canada in 1954. He was a skilled mason and worked for many companies during his career. Theo, always positive and fun loving, was blessed with quick wit, good health and an active lifestyle for most of his life. He loved working outdoors with Sophie, and cherished the results their hard work brought to their beautiful backyard. Theo loved fishing and hunting in his younger years, and as time went on and gently mellowed with age, he started to feed all the wild animals that passed through their yard on Willis Road. His greatest joy was sitting with Sophie in their sunroom watching the birds and wildlife. Theo's wishes are for there to be no memorial or funeral service.
