Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (JACK) DONALD STEWART October 18, 1918 - April 11, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of Jack announces his passing on April 11, 2011. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ruth in August of 1995. Jack is survived by his sons: John of Port Moody, BC, James (Maureen) of Calgary, AB, Rob (Emi) of San Diego, CA and his daughter Dorothy (Wayne) Proceviat of Calgary, AB. Jack also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Michael (Andrea), Leah (Dallas), Jenna, Rob, Geoff (Lavonne), Ashley, Kelsey and Adam (Katrina), and two great-grandsons: Kayden and Ryder. He served with the Royal Canadian Artillery during the Second World War. Jack was active in the Baking Industry in western Canada as well as the Dairy Industry in Manitoba, Jack retired from Beatrice Foods (Meadowland Dairy Products) in 1983. He is also a retired member of the Winnipeg Metro Club. Thanks to Jim and Betty Gagnon for their kindness over the years, and a special thanks to the entire staff at the Colonel Belcher for their dedicated care.
