Dad was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Doreene on June 7, 2008. Dad was also predeceased by two sisters Grace Chamberlin and Olive Morgan. Alf's family would like to thank all the staff of Thorvaldson's Care Centre, in particular Shelvey for their comfort and care during his stay with them. Also, Floor 8 Palliative Care Unit of the St. Boniface Hospital for helping to make our Dad's last days comfortable and peaceful for him and the family. Uncle Alfie I love you so much. I am so grateful that we got to spend some time together before Auntie Doreene passed away, sharing laughter and stories. I will never forget how you took care of us when we were little and all the times we spent with you at the lake. I will miss your kindness and love.
