Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH RUFF (nee WEIZEL) May 22, 1931 April 15, 2011 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Ruff. Ruth's life will be forever treasured by her daughters Cathy Sterdan (Michael), and Lori Rahn (Bob Tippett). Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren Julie Popke (Eddie), Tracy Sterdan (Jamie Hopkins), Janice and Kristin Rahn. One of Mom's greatest joys was the birth of her great-grandsons Ashton Popke and Jack Hopkins. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Joyce Sterkell, brother-in-law Gordon Ruff (Gail) and many nieces and nephews. In addition to family, Mom's other passions in life were her faith and music. She was blessed to have had the opportunity to be the organist and choir director at Christ Lutheran Church where she was a lifetime member. We wish to thank our loving family and friends for their prayers and support. Mom's short illness was eased considerably by the kind and compassionate care she received from her Home Care workers and the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital 5th floor, unit 6. A celebration of Mom's life will take place on Wednesday, April 20 at Christ Lutheran Church, 815 Inkster Blvd. at 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, donations may be made to Luther Home, 1081 Andrews St., R2V 2G9 or to Christ Lutheran Church, 815 Inkster Blvd., R2X 1N3.
