DALE ELIZABETH NEISH (nee HOLM) March 19, 1946 - April 16, 2011 Sadly, after her courageous battle with cancer, Dale quietly passed away Saturday night, April 16, 2011 at the age of 65. Left to cherish Dale's memory are her beloved husband of 32 years, John; her children Melody (Gord); David (Tammy), grandchildren Macy and Easton; Lisa (Carl), and Louie our family dog; her brother Lloyd (Monique), their children Stacy (Trevor), Lloyd (Marnie), Charlie (Becky); sister-in-law Deborah (Eddie); aunts and uncles, great-nieces and nephews, Harley, Wynter, Lloyd, Jack and Charlie; bonus grandchildren, Amanda, Megan and Brodie all of whom she shared special times with. Dale is predeceased by her mom and dad, Grace and Gustav. Dale was born in Eriksdale and lived on the family farm in Lundar until age 17 when she moved to Winnipeg to attend Business College. Dale worked at Cam Guard, Stanley Brock and then Fleming Pedlar (Hussmann) where she retired from. Because Dale was not a person to sit around, she started up a home based accounting company DEN Bookkeeping. Dale enjoyed her customers who she considered friends. When Dale wasn't working she found enjoyment spending summers at the cottage with family and friends. The more people the better, as Dale fussed to make sure everyone was fed and taken care of. That was truly Dale's happiest times - seeing her family happy. Just recently John and Dale took a lengthy Alaskan holiday that she thoroughly enjoyed. In the winters she and John traveled to warm destinations such as Hawaii, Florida, Mexico, Cuba, Barbados, and her favourite the Dominican Republic where she didn't miss a year there in the last 10 years. Dale was the kindest, most patient person you could meet. Her door was always open and her ear was yours for whatever you needed. She was dedicated and loyal to her family and friends. We have a huge hole in our hearts right now as we have to write this announcement. Dale, Mom, Amma, Aunty Dale you are loved and missed more than words can say. The family wishes to thank all her doctors and nurses at CancerCare Manitoba, and a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of Riverview Health Care who provided Dale with the most amazing care over the past month. The family would also like to thank all the friends who assisted and visited Dale. The kindness shown by everyone both to Dale and the family is so appreciated. Your love is what helps us to go on. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale's honour to CancerCare Manitoba or Riverview Health Centre. We hope you are at peace and pain free now. You will be missed and loved forever and always. xoxo A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue.
