MARY (MOLLY) ELIZABETH DORAN It is with great joy that we celebrate Molly (nee Crowe) Doran's life. Our mom passed away shortly after her 90th birthday. Determined as always, she lived independently in Comox, BC until the time of her passing. Predeceased in 2006 by Wally, her loving husband of 60 years, Molly leaves behind her family who will remember her with love and laughter. Bill (Dyan, Liz, James, Heather), Jim (Karen), Maureen (Yacine and Meredith, Myriam, Jamal) and Kathy (Mike and Michelle). Molly was a country girl at heart. Born in Fort Macleod, AB to Sam and Lizzie Crowe, she and dad lived in Vancouver, Winnipeg, and retired to Squamish and Comox. She taught junior high in the Fort Garry School Division and then served on the Fort Garry School Board. Molly loved to read and write, garden and play bridge and her wits were never sharper than when she got into a lively discussion of politics. Spanning the years and the country, mom had many great friends who will miss her dearly. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of mom's life will take place July 3 in Winnipeg. If desired, donations in mom's name may be made to The Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation in support of the prevention of depression related suicide in young people.
