CHARLOTTE JEAN MCCARRON (nee MCPHERSON) 1924 - 2011 Peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Concordia Place Personal Care Home, Charlotte McCarron passed away at the age of 86 years. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Edwin; siblings, James, Fred, May, Leonard and Dorothy; in-laws, Gertrude, Eva and Hilda. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Maureen, Hilda (Ed), Ian (Lesia) and Bruce (Sandi); grandchildren, Marcia, Monica (Greg), Jeffrey, Michael, Sarah and Rebekah; great-grandsons, Nathan and Jace; in-laws, Ida (of Winnipeg), Sheila (of Ottawa); Elsie and Brian in Australia and many other extended family members and friends. Charlotte was born in High Bluff, MB, raised and educated in Winnipeg. She travelled to Australia as a War Bride in 1945, Charlotte and Ed returned to Winnipeg with their young family in 1949 and moved to E. Lower Fort Garry. Charlotte worked for the Provincial Government until retirement in 1986. The family would like to express thanks to the staff on 4th floor of Concordia Place for all their special care and attention showed to Charlotte over the past 10 years. Also thanks to Chaplain John Friesen for his special friendship. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation in Charlotte's name to a charity of their choice.
