DONALD JAMES CORIE ROSEVEARE May 2, 1954 April 20, 2011 It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Donald, beloved son of Alecia Rorrie (companion Leonard Jorgenson) and sister Gail Will. His sister Margret Bartlett predeceased him January 4, 1993 and will be welcoming him with open loving arms to start mothering' him again. We will miss him more than he will ever know, but he is at peace and free from pain. He will be dearly missed by his companion Sharon Prince, his best buddy Everett Longclaws, son Shawn Traverse along with his siblings and their mother Betty, Debbie Miner and family, his Aunt Wilmet Bruce and her family, and many friends as well as nieces and nephews and their families. We are grateful to Dr. Salem and Seven Oaks General Hospital staff on Unit 4, especially Miguel, for all your care and compassion. Donald, you were extra special, being the first adoptee in Manitoba to a single parent. Not flesh of my flesh Nor bone of my bone But still, miraculously my own Never forget for a single minute, You didn't grow under my heart, but in it. A Celebration of Donald's Life will take place on Monday, May 2 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Manitoba Addictions Foundation, 1031 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3G 0R8.
