RETA TAYLOR March 13, 1913 - April 22, 2011 Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital. Reta was born in Rosebank, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Emily Simm; sisters Mary, Jesse and Isabelle and brothers Joe and Fred. Reta leaves to mourn, her daughters Linda Taylor Boyd (Fred) and Donna-Lee Ervick (Jim); grandson David Boyd (Erin); great-grandchildren Jessica and Avery; step-grandchildren Jeff Ervick (Marcya) and Cindy Zatylny (Calvin); step-great-grandchildren Justin, Anthony, Presley, Kennedy and MacKenzie. Reta was a long time member of the Riverside Lionelle and an avid Winnipeg Blue Bomber Football fan and a season ticket holder for 62 years. For many years Reta worked at Clark/Gambles and Zellers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Following a reception, interment will be in St. Vital Cemetery. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital 5th Floor Section E for their excellent care and support. Pallbearers will be Messrs. Fred Boyd, David Boyd, Jim Ervick, Jeff Ervick, Glen Ervick and Gordon Allen. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
