Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN BASIL CONNORS It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Basil Connors on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 81 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Shirley of 51 years; his son Fred (Natalie); sister Mary of Detroit, Michigan. John was born and raised in Mount Forest, Ontario and joined the RCAF where he served for 27 years. After retiring from the RCAF he worked for the DND. John enjoyed travelling with his wife Shirley. They travelled throughout Europe, Canada and in later years, wintered in Arizona. The highlight of his travels was his trip around the world. He loved his summers fishing in Wendigo and the company of his friends there. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Roman Catholic Parish of St. Paul The Apostle, 2400 Portage Avenue with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros, presiding. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's name to the Winnipeg Harvest, 1085 Winnipeg Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0S2.

We were very sad to hear about the loss of such a wonderful man. We have so many great memories of the times we spent with John & Shirley. He will be missed very much.
