WILLIAM (BILL) TAYLOR On Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Bill Taylor, aged 84 years of Netley, MB, passed away. He is survived by his wife Rita; brother Roy (Frances); sister Thelma Wawryk; brothers-in-law Richard (Lorraine), Ronnie (Janet), Dennis, and Chris (Lillian) Lucyshen; sisters-in-law Connie (Pat) Hermanson, Irene and Liz Taylor; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents Jack and Winnifred; brothers Tim and Harold; sister Doris (Dave) Veitch; mother and father-in-law Nick and Helen Lucyshen and brothers-in-law Peter Wawryk and Dale Lucyshen. Bill was born and raised in Netley, MB. He joined the Army December 9, 1944 and was in training when the war ended. He enjoyed playing baseball for the Netley Team in his younger years. He also enjoyed curling and in his later years golfing at Sandy Hook Golf Course. Bill worked as a farmer as well worked at the MRM for many years. The family would like to thank Dr. Zoppa and the nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital, especially Megan and Eleanor. As per Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment of ashes will take place at the Wakefield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada-Manitoba Branch, 730 Taylor Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3M 2K8.
