Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARRY GORDON WARD February 27, 1951 - April 22, 2011 After a long illness, Barry passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the St. Boniface Hospital. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Barry is survived by wife Peggy; son Ryan; daughter Leanne; and granddaughter Munroe. Coming from a Police background, Barry worked for Manitoba Public Insurance for many years retiring as head of the SIU. He spent his leisure time at the cottage at Bird River and taking pride in coaching and volunteering his time for many youth sports teams throughout the years. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of the following: Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Liver Foundation or Canadian Mental Health Association Manitoba Division. A celebration of Barry's life will be held on Tuesday, April 26 in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Arrangements In Care Of WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 211 REGENT AVE.
