Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY HARKNESS (nee MOORE) January 8, 1950 - April 23, 2011 Mary has gone to be with the Lord after a very short battle with Lymphoma. Most precious wife and best friend of Suzanne Kightley. Daughter of Jane and William Moore. Sister of Ken (Klara), Gordon (Vivian). Mary was born and raised in Manitoba and graduated from Grant Park High School. Mary was a member of the Daughters of Job. She moved to Ontario after her divorce from Jeff Harkness. Loved and cherished by many friends, Debbie in Winnipeg, and Suzanne and the Conroy family that welcomed Mary as a part of their family. For 23 years Mary was a very proud member of A.A. She helped many through difficult times with her love and wisdom. Ready to help all. Mary was just starting to enjoy and get used to retirement. Too many friends and loved ones to mention. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Multiple Sclerosis Society in Mary's name. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at MARSHALL MEMORIAL UNITED CHURCH, 20 Gilbert Ave. (at Fiddlers Green Rd., Ancaster, Ontario) from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011 with a Service of Remembrance to follow at 2:00 p.m. The family invites friends and relatives to sign the book of condolence at www.db-ancaster.ca Arrangements entrusted to Dodsworth Brown Funeral Home Ancaster, Ontario 905-648-3852.
