Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKASUMI OKABE February 8, 1919 - April 22, 2011 With deepest sadness the family wishes to share the passing of Kasumi (mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother). She leaves to mourn her three children Robert Ken and wife Gladys, George and Betty, Helen and Ed Urano; eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother and sisters. Kasumi was predeceased by her husband Katsuyoshi in 1990. Kasumi was born in Maple Ridge, BC. She moved to Manitoba in 1942 where she raised her family and worked as a seamstress until she retired. Her last years were spent at West Park Manor. The family would like to thank the staff there for their kind care given to Kasumi. She will be remembered for the love she has for her family. Kasumi will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice.
