TAMARA VISZKET 1968 - 2011 Free at Last Following a lifetime of fragile health which declined sharply in recent years, culminating in a final six month hospital stay. It is with profound sorrow, yet relief, that our Lord saw fit to reach down and call home our precious daughter and mother, Tammy, from the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit on April 25, 2011 (Easter Monday) following the anniversary of His own Son's victory. She will be dearly missed by her pride and comforting joy, her daughter Michaela, father Tony Viszket (Pearl), mother Theresa (Davis) Lagsdine, Aunt Joanne (Dennis) Friesen, Ernest and Louella (Nana) Flett, numerous relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29 at Salem Community Bible Church, 691 Alexander Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Mennonite Elementary School Bursary Fund to assist with Michaela's education. Last, the family would especially like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre and the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for their loving, compassionate care shown to our family. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • As I sit here in the living room, Christmas tree up, I can’t help but think how much you’d love this Christmas season. Barely any snow and it feels like a cold autumn. Thinking of you this year. (For those that don’t know, Tammy’s birthday was December 2). - Posted by: Michaela (Kayla) Viszket (Daughter) on: Dec 21, 2023

  • It’s been 10 years since mom left this world. I think about her all the time, I wonder who she was as a person beyond what my grandmother knew (which we all know how well our parents truly know us…). If you had any relationship with my mother and have any thoughts/ memories you’d like to share, I would love to hear it. My mother was a fighter, small but mighty! I’ll love you forever mommy, I will make you proud :) - Posted by: Michaela (Kayla) Viszket (daughter) on: Jan 23, 2022
