JOHN (JACK) DONALD ANDERSON Following a brief illness, the family announces the passing of Jack on April 25, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 90 years. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Anne, sons Robert of Arizona, James of Chilliwack, BC, brother-in-law Rick (Linda) Ksionzek, sister-in-law Jean MacPherson of Thunder Bay, ON, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents Fillimon and Ann Andreyczuk, sisters Minnie Anderson, Lottie Gotch, and Emily Laverty, and brothers Modest Anderson, Phillip Anderson and Raymond Anderson. Jack was born and raised in Winnipeg. He served the Canadian Navy in the last years of the Second World War. He then met Anne and married in 1945. After the war he was employed with C.N. Rail as a Trainman until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing and making mirrored furniture. A service of remembrance will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Klassen Funeral Home.
