LAURA-LIE MICHALIK (nee Stefanson) (formerly of Winnipeg, now of Calgary) It is with great sadness the family of Laura-Lie Michalik announce her passing after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the age of 53 years. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her two sons John and Bill, father, Lorne Stefanson, brothers Brad (Gaile), Clarence (Wendy), Arthur, Danny and Orville (Denise), sister Runi (Ted), Terry (Shelagh), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Laura-Lie was predeceased by her mother Viola Tuckett, and father of her boys, Ron Michalik. Laura-Lie will be sadly missed by her co-workers in the print and envelope manufacturing industries and her many valued clients. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS HOLLOWAY'S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Foundation, Peter Lougheed Centre and Santuari Hospice for the excellent care Laura-Lie received.
