MARY BUZINSKI (nee Kowal) Peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, Mary passed away at Misericordia Place in Winnipeg at the age of 88 years. Left to cherish Mary's memory is her daughter Lorraine Kapitoler (Hart); son Larry Budzinski (Kim Currie); grandchildren, Kevin Kapitoler (Renee), Crystal Johnson (Derek), Kalithea Budzinski and William Budzinski; as well as by her twin sister Jean Fuller; sisters Emily Peleshok, (Mike) and Olga Krawchuk; brother John Kowal (Valentina); sisters-in-law Sylvia Kowal, Kay Budzinski and Elsie Witteveen; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William and brother Melvin Kowal. Mary was born in Rivers in 1923 and grew up in the Oakburn area. She married William Buzinski in 1946 and moved to Foxwarren to raise their family. In 1971 she moved to Winnipeg to work in the garment industry and later at Brazier Day Care Centre. Mary retired in 1988 and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to travel and especially loved the outdoors. She enjoyed her trips to the family cottage at Sioux Narrows, Ontario and spending many afternoons at City Park. On Saturday, April 30, 2011 a Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel in Misericordia Place, 44 Furby Street, Winnipeg. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Misericordia Place for their wonderful care during Mary's stay there. Mary loved flowers and gardens; hence the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Misericordia Foundation - Miz Place Garden in her memory.
