HERB VERWYMEREN 1932 - 2011 After a courageous battle, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He leaves his loving wife Corrie of 54 years, his children Marianne Delveaux (Denis), Susie Lim (Alan), Ron Verwymeren (Twylla), Paul Verwymeren (Trish), 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Mien, Jan, Riet, Nel and many in-laws, nieces and nephews in both The Netherlands and Canada. Herb is a man who had a zeal for life. He loved time with his family, long walks at the lake and travelling. In his travels he made friends world-wide. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on his behalf to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
