GEORGE GEMBEY 1920 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce that George, beloved Husband of Stephanie passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the Grace Hospital. George was predeceased by his parents Peter and Katherine, his brother Harry, an infant brother Nick and son-in-law Fred Bunch. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Stephanie, one son Allen (Vereta), two daughters Patricia and Jacqueline, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Agnes, brother-in-law Edward (Gladys) and numerous nephews and nieces. George worked at the Winnipeg Post Office until he retired. He was a kind and gentleman. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with interment and reception to follow. The family would especially like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff at Grace Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
