Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS WARDE HART 1924 - 2011 Thomas Warde Hart, son of Otto and Hattie (Jackson) Hart, born on May 10, 1924 in Bemidji, MN, went home to Glory on April 28, 2011. He enlisted in the U.S. Army the third day of December in 1942 and was sworn in on the tenth in Fort Snelling, Minneapolis, MN. On December 27, 1945 he was united in marriage to Ellora Mae Avery. They lived in Bemidji, MN: Duluth, MN and Ralston, NE before moving to Pikwitonei, Manitoba, Canada in 1967 to minister amongst the Indians. They spent ten years in Pikwitonei before serving in Lynn Lake, MB and South End, SK. Tom was a good and faithful servant and will always be remembered for his love of God and for sharing the Gospel with all who would listen. Tom is survived by his wife, Ellora; three daughters, one son and their spouses, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his parents, brother Harmon; brother Jack; sister-in-law Jewel Hart and brother-in-law Thomas Downey. The funeral will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB with ash interment at a later date in Bemidji, MN.
