She leaves to mourn her passing René (Sue), Mariette Hanson (Dave), Ghislaine Lavergne Trampe (Klaus), Maurice (Joyce), Marcel (Gail), André (Gisèle), Lynne Hamel, Carmen Stoyko (John), Julie Manaigre; 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Eugène, a daughter-in-law Enna and son-in-law Bernard. Our mother lead by example as a devout Christian, a great homemaker, was a sport enthusiast (baseball), and her favourite past time was playing cards. While living in Lorette, she took pride in the garden, was active in various community organizations. Mom was noted to be a super caregiver for her friends and to help in whatever capacity possible. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street in St. Boniface. The celebration of her life will be on Tuesday, May 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral with Father Marcel Damphousse presiding. A private interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date in the Otterburne Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care given to our Mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
