It broke my heart to lose you As you did not go alone For part of me went with you The day God called you home. Each day is full of memories, Your love is still my guide, And although I cannot see you, You're always at my side. Your golden heart stopped beating, Two hard working hands at rest God broke my heart to prove He only takes the best. Our loving chain is broken And nothing is the same But when God calls for me, We will be together and The chain will link again. With Eternal love and together forever, Your loving husband Walter
