Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN KATHARINE BENNETT (nee TURNER) On Sunday, May 1, 2011, Eileen died at the Grace Hospital at the age of 76 years. Left to cherish Eileen's memory is her beloved husband, Ron; children, Marilyn (Dwayne) Dorsey and their children, Heather, Cameron and Malcolm; Linda Bennett (Tom Gray) and their children, Samantha Bennett and Saylor Gray; her son Tom Bennett; great-grandson Matthew Hamilton; as well as a brother Alan Turner and his wife Nena. She was predeceased by her parents and sister Mary Patricia Turner. Eileen was born in Winnipeg at Misericordia Hospital, April 7, 1935, the second child of Roy Nelson Turner and Mary Donalda Power. After graduating from Kelvin High School in Winnipeg, she attended the University of Manitoba and Business College. She was employed as secretary to the general manager of Canadian Fire and Indemnity Company until devoting her time, love and energy to raising her children. Eileen resumed her career as a secretary and library assistant at Kelvin High School and retired after 17 happy and fulfilling years. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H., presiding. A private family Interment will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to a charity of choice in Eileen's name would be appreciated.
