Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR (WAYNE) JACKSON It is with great sadness the family of Arthur Wayne Jackson announces his sudden passing on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 66 years. Left to forever cherish Wayne's memory will be his wife Dorothy, of 43 years of marriage; daughter Hilary (Mark Delorme) of Kenora; son Patrick of Calgary; sister Sharon Reiger-Jackson of St. Thomas, ON; special brother-in-law Jerry Poroznuk (Julie) and their children (Calgary); mother-in-law Joyce Byrka; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Wilhelmina Jackson (Fingal); grandparents Hunter; and father-in-law Michael Byrka. As a young man Wayne moved west from Fingal, ON where he lived and spent most of his life on the Prairies. His early years were spent working in finance but he later moved into real estate where he worked for many years helping Winnipeggers find their dream homes. He most recently worked for Ipsos where he enjoyed talking with people from around the world. During his life, Wayne was active in many clubs and groups including the Winnipeg Real Estate Board, Kinsman Club of St. James and the Manitoba Antique Association. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, collecting and antiquing. In keeping with Wayne's wishes a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
