GERTRUDE (TRUDY) THIESSEN Trudy Thiessen (nee Driedger) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and formerly of Altona, Manitoba area, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 3, 2011. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Violet Hancock, Audrey Thiessen, Lorraine Thiessen; grandchildren Shane, Brendan, Dustin, Carrie, Sarah, Raquel; great-granddaughter Genevive. Trudy was predeceased by her husband John Thiessen on September 8, 2009. The Funeral Service for Trudy Thiessen will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona, Manitoba with interment to follow in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be at the Church prior to the service. In memory of Gertrude (Trudy) Thiessen donations may be made to the family to help with Funeral Expenses.
