Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK (JACOBUS) JONKER 1932 - 2011 Jack passed away peacefully on April 29, 2011 in Salmon Arms, BC. Born in The Netherlands, he moved with his family to Canada in l95l. He began his many careers at the age of l2 as a blacksmith apprentice, graduating to welder. On arrival in Canada, he joined the Air Force as a mechanic and later opened his own business, Mill Supplies and Machine Tools. His adventurous spirit brought him for many years to Mexico, Texas, back to Winnipeg and last year to Salmon Arm where he suffered a stroke. Jack was predeceased by his parents and brother John. He leaves to mourn his passing sisters Lena, Toni, Sr. Johanna (Anne) and Cec, brothers Harry, Pete and Neil, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Our sincere thanks to Cec and Ted for taking care of Jack while in Salmon Arm. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place at a later date
