Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANNY WILLIAM JOHN BUSH February 17, 1946 - April 30, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dan Bush on Saturday, April 30, 2011. He was predeceased by his father Dan and his mother Isabel. Dan leaves to mourn his passing his wife Janet (nee Hill); his children Cameron (Steven) and Kaleigh (Shawn); his sisters Sheran Selluski, Candace Cook and Tracey Miller; his Aunt Shirley Wade; his Uncles Bob Wade and Lorne Duncan; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Dan graduated from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba in 1974 and was a partner with Finnen, Bettess and Finnen from 1978 to 1991. Subsequent to leaving the firm, he worked with many First Nations in Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Dan held several executive offices in the Optimist Club of Assiniboia, including Lieutenant Governor of Zone Seven and Chairman of International Relations. He was an avid fisherman and proud of his master angler designations, and spent many of his happiest hours in Nopiming Provincial Park. He was also for many years involved in competitive five Pin Bowling. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Optimist Club of Assiniboia, c/o Curtis Vezina, 128 A Danbury Bay, Winnipeg, MB R2Y 1A5 or to a charity of one's choice. In keeping with Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. in Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive.
