EVANGELINA SANTY LASCANO It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Evangelina Santy Lascano, on May 3, 2011 at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 96. Nanay was predeceased by her husband Godofredo Lascano Sr.; her son Ramon Lascano; her parents and three brothers and sister. Left to cherish Nanay's memory are her children, Ermie (Edmund), Ghodd (Cely), Weny (Fred), Lindo (Ligaya), Del and Edwin (Elda); grandchildren, Ivy (Brad), Lowell (Cecille), Lourna (Raffy), Iris (Jay), Lani (Kevin), Nina, Lynn-Joy (Jon), Jenny (Jay), Carlo (Sarah), Francis (Charlene), Dan, Tiana, Aliyah and Jared; and great-grandchildren, Victoria, Patrick, Jeka, Jeah, Ronald Raina, Raph Angelo, Anele, Vincent, Xander, Ava and Isla. She will also be greatly missed by many of her extended family members, friends and numerous caregivers, especially Amelita. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will always be lovingly remembered for her generosity, strength and devotion to her family. Thank you to the CCU staff at Health Sciences Centre for your wonderful care and compassion. The family will be holding Lamay, Monday, May 9, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
