LESLIE-ANNE PENNER (nee ADAMS) September 19, 1957 - May 6, 2011 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Leslie-Anne Penner on May 6, 2011 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 53 years. Leslie was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Florence Adams. Left to cherish Leslie's memory are her loving husband Gerry, son Dan (Shannon), three grandchildren Hobbes, Zoee and Scarlett, two brothers Jim and Colin of London, England, her aunt Joan as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Leslie moved from England to Winnipeg in 1974. Leslie enjoyed camping, spending time in the outdoors, but her true passion and love was being with her family. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Leslie's life will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leslie's name to CancerCare Manitoba.
