Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (LIESE) TOEWS (nee Loeppky) December 26, 1920 - May 7, 2011 Elizabeth passed away peacefully at Bethesda Place, Steinbach, MB, Saturday, May 7, 2011, age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband Peter P. Toews in 1995. She is survived by her daughter Rose (Peter) Doerksen, two sons: Allen (Bettie) Toews, and Don (Linda St. Godard) Toews, and their families. The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB, with interment at the Silberfeld Chortitzer Mennonite Church Cemetery, Hwy. 311 West, near New Bothwell. Viewing will be at the Chapel prior to the service. Donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to the Bethesda Place, 399 Hospital St., Steinbach, MB R5G 0E6.
