MARILYNN KATHLEEN FIELD (nee WARD) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother after a brief battle with cancer on May 8, 2011. Marilynn will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Kathleen (Paul), Debbie (Pete), Joanne (Mike) and son Morley (Cheryl); her ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother Mickey; sisters Marion, Maureen and special friends Ron and Diane Field. She was predeceased by her mother Kathleen, father Llewellyn Ward and three brothers. Marilynn was born January 15, 1941 in Winnipeg. She loved playing games on the Internet, curling on Saturdays with her son, brother and sister, playing cards and her favourite pastime was playing bingo. She looked forward to special occasions and family gatherings to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated employee for the Louis Riel School Division where she retired in June 2010. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In accordance with Marilynn's wishes cremation has taken place.
