ANNE TRISKA With broken hearts we announce the death of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Anne Triska, 84 years of age on May 7, 2011 at the Arborg Personal Care Home. Anne is survived by William, her loving husband of 65 years, daughter Gloria (Keith), son Robert (Morene), daughter Bonnie (Rod), grandchildren Todd (Deborah), Kristi (Chris), Wendy (Dennis), Melanie (Gary), Blair (Richelle), Neil (Karla), Robin and Erin, her 12 beautiful, much loved great-grandchildren and her brother Stanley (Pearl). She was predeceased by her parents Kazimir and Katherine Sutyla, daughter June, infant great-grandson David, sister Jean, brothers Walter, Tony, Joe, Carl, John, Frank, Andrew and infant siblings Mary, Stan and Stella. Mom was born and raised on the Sutyla family homestead in Ledwyn, and attended Tarno School and St. John's Catholic Church. After leaving home as a teenager, she was employed by various businesses in Riverton where she met her future husband Bill. After they married, they soon began to raise their family, residing in Riverton until November of 2009 when they moved to Arborg's Assisted Living Facility. This past December Mom moved into the Personal Care Home. Mom considered her life full and rewarding. She greatly enjoyed and excelled at many activities such as gardening, cooking, crocheting, knitting, curling and playing her harmonica. She was very proud of her Best Yard in Town awards and of her beautiful collection of violets. Although these activities brought her much happiness and made her many friends, nothing could compare to the absolute joy her family gave her. As children grew and had children of their own, Mom continued to shower on each one of them, the same kind of genuine love and affection that we all came to know. We will all miss her terribly. Funeral service to be held at the Arborg St. Philips Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. to be followed by interment at St. John's Catholic Church in Ledwyn and lunch at Riverton Friendship Circle at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends and family who so desire may make a donation to the Arborg Personal Care Home where Mom last lived. Our family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to all staff members at both the Assisted Living Facility and the Personal Care Home. The compassion you showed Mom and our family during this difficult time and the wonderful care you gave her throughout, was exemplary and so sincerely appreciated. We are forever grateful.
